Whether you are inquiring for yourself, your child, or a family member, make an appointment with Enlighten Learning Resource (ELR) to share your questions and concerns about dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia or other specific learning disabilities. An ELR educator will explain screening practices, tutoring options, and ongoing support services available through the learning center. With both in person and virtual support services, we serve those in San Diego and beyond!
Screening and Tutoring
Enlighten Learning Resource (ELR) provides screening and tutoring services for children in kindergarten through adulthood. Our screening service helps individuals understand and recognize the signs and symptoms of dyslexia. ELR educators use comprehensive screening tools, explain the significance of the results, and provide specific recommendations for tutoring and support. ELR uses the Barton Reading and Spelling system, an effective, explicit, rules-based method that offers specific benchmarks and proven results.
Parental and Family Support Services
Parents typically have good insight into their student’s academic struggles, but may lack the information or resources necessary to get targeted help for their student. Parents need to know they are not alone. ELR educators are parents and teachers of children with learning differences. We can help parents navigate the system and outline the next steps.
